Forest Schools
Each week small groups of children take part in forest school activities, where they spend time working together outdoors. They have 6 sessions which are themed depending on the group and time of year. These groups are changed half termly so other children get the chance to take part in outdoor learning. The children enjoy learning outdoors it gives them a chance to explore, be creative and problem solve, it also helps to build confidence and awareness of themselves and their surroundings.
Some of the themes already covered this year include exploring our environment, animals and their habitats and the seasons
